The influence school has had on my life

Well classmates can you believe we are on Unit 5 already, how time has flown. I first want to start out by saying that school has influenced my life in several ways: I have become a stronger person because I have had to juggle a full time job, a family and my school. I know this can be alot for one person but if I want to make myself a better person I can find ways to juggle my life. I think with me going to school it has a great effect on my kids as well, they see how hard I work to make things better for myself and the family and they also know that as they grow up and get older they can be whatever they want to be by working hard at it. I just feel really good and proud of myself for taking that step and going back to school so I can have a better life for me and my family. I hope everyone has a nice weekend and I will see everyone next week!:)

  1. Leslie,

I applaud you for your stamina! Raising children and working is exhausting let alone throwing school into the mix. I was a single parent for 12 years and I know what it is like. Your day starts off running the kids to school, going to work, cooking dinner, taking the kids to other activities, doing laundry and finally falling into bed. My mother was a hard worker and taught me the value of working and taking care of yourself and family. She retired when she 79 years old. I have always been an over-achiever which is sometimes good and sometimes bad. At any rate you did the right thing by going back to school, hopefully, we will meet at graduation!
